MTC RIFLESCOPES – THE FUTURE JUST GOT BRIGHTER

Nothing compares with an MTC scope, and over the last decade the company has grown into one of the UK’s most respected suppliers of rifle scopes.

MTC’s range of rifle scopes covers every sort of shooting, and with every scope designed for use with any type of rifle, there’s no need to worry whether our products are tough enough.

From competition use to everyday workhorse, an MTC scope earns its reputation day-in, day-out.

MTC COPPERHEAD SERIES

MTC Optics Copperhead scopes 3-12 X 44 F2 and 6-16 X 44 F2 – a super compact telescopic sight that will appeal to shooters who wish for a short, lightweight 30mm tubed scope.

The Copperhead is well equipped and despite its small size lacks nothing in features or optical clarity. With click-stop adjustments in MILs (1 click =1cm at 100m), actuated via lockable, finger-adjustable elevation and windage turrets, the Copperhead is the first scope to feature MTC’s new AMD2 multi-aimpoint reticle, providing for numerous aiming points to counter trajectory and improved windage reference points. The AMD2 reticle fitted to Copperhead  – has a central crosshair that can be red illuminated to one of six brightness levels to suite any lighting scenario. The 30mm tube has been matched to a high quality multicoated 44mm objective lens to produce the sharpest image.

A pin-sharp sight picture is guaranteed courtesy of a fast focus eyepiece and a side adjuster to dial-out parallax error; from infinity down to 10 yards.

The Copperhead is supplied with flip-up covers to protect the lenses when the scope is not in use.

MTC SWAT PRISMATIC SERIES

With its short eye relief, the SWAT Prismatic ‘sits back’ further than any other scope, leaving plenty of mounting rail to allow headache-free attachment of all kinds of Night Vision fittings. Its multi-faceted SCB2 crosshair can also be illuminated at the push of a button, and comes with brightness control to suit all lighting situations.

The field of view from its 50mm front lens is three times more than a conventional scope. Put another way: here we have a 12x magnification scope that has the same field of view as a ‘conventional’ scope dialled into just 4x power.

MTC SWAT PRISMATIC 10×30 ‘Atom’MTC SWAT PRISMATIC 10x30

MTC’s second SWAT Prismatic model – a 10×30 that has earned the nickname ‘Atom’, due to is diminutive size.

Like its (slightly) larger 12×50 sibling, the all-new 10×30 SWAT Prismatic is a little scope featuring some big differences. SWAT stands for Super Wide-Angle
Technology, meaning the Atom offers of a much wider field of view than a conventional 10x magnification scope. What’s more, it harnesses its highly detailed sight picture courtesy of an ultra-short eye relief and a concertina rubber eyecup, making it particularly suitable for low-recoil rimfires and air rifles.

Despite its small dimensions – it measures just 123mm from the 30mm objective to the eyepiece – the 10×30 is anything but short on features. Its external elevation and windage turrets not only offer the much-favoured MIL-rated click adjustments, they are lockable and feature resettable verniers. Near-perfect optical centring can also be achieved courtesy of the Atom’s tilt-adjustable mount (supplied).

Besides a quick-focus eyepiece, there’s side parallax adjustment to eliminate aiming errors at closer ranges, with adjustment down to 6 metres. And the Atom sports our new and simplified MD5 mil-dot reticle, which can also be illuminated to one of 10 brightness settings.

MTC KING COBRA SERIES

Designated ‘F1’ to mark its lenses’ optical configuration, the Cobra will prove popular with shooters who favour the less complicated sight picture offered by FFP tellies, where the relationship between target and crosshair size remains constant throughout the scope’s entire magnification range. This is particularly advantageous when allowing hold-over and hold-under on targets – scenarios aided further by MTC’s multi-stadia SCB2 crosshair that provides numerous aiming points to counter trajectory and windage deviation.

KING COBRA 4-16X50F1

MTC KING COBRA F1 4-16×50

New to the MTC Optics range is the King Cobra 4-16×50 F1. This super-clear and bright scope comes adorned with luxurious appointments throughout, not least its copper embellishments that affirm MTC’s premium status in the optics world.

The King Cobra 4-16×50 F1 features MTC’s familiar SCB2 multi-aimpoint reticle. Set in the first focal plane (FFP), it ensures plenty of aimpoints to counter trajectory and windage deviation without obscuring the target.

To maintain a bright sight picture, the F1’s 30mm aircraft-grade aluminium tube has been matched to the latest highest quality, 50mm objective lens and that is specially coated to maximise light-to-eye transmission for a bright, clear image on every zoom setting.

Operated by a side dial, the centre of the reticle can be illuminated red in six different brightness levels to suit any lighting scenario so you can keep shooting long after the sun has dipped below the horizon!

The new scope also features precise click-stop adjustment in MILs (1 click =1cm at 100m), actuated via lockable, finger-adjustable elevation and windage turrets with resettable verniers.

Of relevance to airgunners is the scope’s ability to parallax down to just 10 metres via a smooth sidewheel. And in common with many other MTC Optics models, the King Cobra 4-16×50 F1 comes complete with a set of magnetic flip covers, the rear one of which contains a 2x magnifier to help shooters read the parallax and turret verniers.

MTC KING COBRA F1 6-24×50MTC KING COBRA F1 6-24x50

MTC Optics King Cobra 6-24 x 50 F1 – a telescopic sight that will appeal to shooters who favour higher-powered First Focal Plane (FFP) scopes, where the
relationship between target and crosshair size remains constant throughout the scope’s entire magnification range.

The King Cobra comes well appointed. It offers click-stop adjustments in MILs (1 click =1cm at 100m), actuated via lockable, finger-adjustable elevation and windage turrets. Its features MTC’s SCB2 multi-aimpoint reticle, providing for numerous aiming points to counter trajectory and windage deviation – and its central crosshair can be red illuminated to one of six brightness levels to suite any lighting scenario. To maximise light transmission and maintain a bright sight picture, the King Cobra’s 30mm tube has been matched to a 50mm objective lens that’s been specially-coated.

New to the MTC Optics range is the King Cobra 4-16×50 F2. This super-clear and bright scope comes adorned with luxurious appointments throughout, not least its copper embellishments that affirm MTC’s premium status in the optics world.

The first in a series of new King Cobra products being launched this year, the 4-16×50 F2 sports distinctive copper-coloured accents, including a front band, side plates and a stylish new copper-coloured MTC Optics logo.

As usual with all MTC scopes, the King Cobra 4-16 x 50 F2 features MTC’s SCB2 multi-aimpoint reticle. Set in the second focal plane (SFP), it ensures plenty of aimpoints to counter trajectory and windage deviation without obscuring the target.

To maintain a bright sight picture, the F2’s 30mm tube has been matched to a high-quality, 50mm objective lens that’s been specially coated to maximise light-to-eye transmission for a bright, clear image on every zoom setting. The centre of the reticle can be illuminated red, to one of six brightness levels to suit any lighting scenario, this scope sees the day long after the sun has dipped below the horizon!

The new scope also features click-stop adjustment in MILs (1 click =1cm at 100m), actuated via lockable, finger-adjustable elevation and windage turrets.

Of relevance to airgunners is this scope’s ability to parallax down to just 10 metres via a smooth sidewheel. And in common with many other MTC Optics models, the King Cobra 4-16×50 F2 comes complete with a set of magnetic flip covers, the rear one of which contains a 2x magnifier to help  shooters read the parallax and turret verniers.

MTC PRO SERIES

MTC scopes have always been the smart shooters choice, now the scopes themselves have just become a lot smarter with the introduction of the new revolutionary PRO series. Magnetic covers 2x magnifying turret window and even six times magnification range are features that are either unavailable elsewhere or where they are cost many times more.

MTC VIPER-PRO 3-18×50 or 5-30×50

This revolutionary new scope contains the best and most sophisticated turret design available anywhere, the top turret contains a micro gearbox rotating at a 3-1 ratio – this means that three rotations of the top turret translates to a single rotation or the indicator drum making it much easier to know where you are in terms of rotations. Its turret ‘window’ shows a customisable ribbon that shows exactly the information you want from Mills to MOA – even yards or metres can be displayed: It’s your choice.

MTC MAMBA LITE

MTC-4-16x42-MambaLite

MTC Mamba Lite

The original and best-selling MambaLite was custom-made for MTC by Optisan, but with Optisan ceasing production in 2014 it left a hole in the MTC portfolio. The new MambaLite 3-12×42 and 4-16×42 plugs that gap and adds some important extra features, as while the original scope did not have an illuminated reticle; the new MambaLite does. The scope comes out of the same design studio as all other MTC scopes and shares many of features: such as 10 yards to infinity side parallax, updated SCB2 (illuminated) reticle and magnetic flip covers which include the patented 2x magnifier in the rear lens.

MTC MAMBA ULTRA LITE

Mamba UltraLite

MTC Mamba Ultra Lite

With riflescopes seemingly getting bigger and heavier, MTC Optics’ UltraLite line offers shooters the option to keep their combos light and manageable. The 3-10×40 UltraLite model weighs in at just 1lb 3oz (538 grams), yet maintains an array of practical features MTC scopes have become so renowned for.

Sporting a traditional 1in (25mm) body tube, the UltraLite’s lenses are treated with a superior multi-coating to return light transmission figures almost identical to those of heavier, 30mm-tubed scopes in the same price bracket. Included in the package are the patented magnetic flip covers incorporating a 2x magnifier pane, seven-step reticle illumination via a push-button interface, semi-target turrets and speed focus.

MTC VIPER CONNECT

Viper Connect 3-12×32

This is our most revolutionary hunting scope. The CONNECT, being a short eye relief scope, offers an amazingly wide fi eld of view – almost double at 10x compared to a normal scope. Add in all the great features like the twist-adjust eye relief, the built-in click stop at 10x zoom, the rubber eye piece extender and the integrated objective lens cover and the VIPER CONNECT just has to be a total winner for all shooters.
